The Art Acquisitions of the Cultural Foundation of the Free State of Saxony 2026
Since 2005, the Cultural Foundation of the Free State of Saxony has acquired contemporary visual art from Saxony each year. The focus is on artists whose main place of work or residence is in the Free State of Saxony. The nomination and selection of the artworks are carried out by the independent Advisory Board for Visual Arts and the Foundation’s Board of Directors.
The Kunstsammlungen Chemnitz are pleased to present the exhibition series WIN/WIN for the third time at the Museum Gunzenhauser. The exhibition WIN/WIN is a cooperation between the Cultural Foundation of the Free State of Saxony and the Kunstsammlungen Chemnitz – Museum Gunzenhauser.
