Dot Dot Comma Dash
Play development with images, materials and objects
A new theatre production for young people aged four and above emerges from artistic and playful research. Using materials, bodies and dance, as well as tripods, colours and shapes, Arne van Dorsten and Anna Lehotská explore very different gestures and feelings, pictorial spaces and colour schemes. Together with the audience, they examine how faces are read, when and how a face is created, and what happens when individual elements are suddenly removed or break out of line. And along the way, a lively story emerges from shapes and arrangements! The production will be staged in the autumn, directed by Lara Kaiser and with set design by Cornelius Reitmayr, and will also be shown on the road: at the Gunzenhauser Museum, in daycare centres and primary schools.
In cooperation with the Chemnitz Art Collections – Gunzenhauser Museum.
With the mobile version, we will be visiting daycare centres and other educational institutions and will also be performing on selected dates at the Gunzenhauser Museum from January 2026. The performances are aimed at both groups and families and can be combined with an after-show – a creative short workshop at the museum.
