Workshop: Zines als kreative Praxis

We warmly invite you to the workshop Zines as Creative Practice with paper artist and graphic designer Julia Koschler on 10 October 2026 at 2 pm at the Gunzenhauser Museum. During the workshop, you will be introduced to the medium and history of zines and will have the opportunity to get creative yourself.

In the second half of the 20th century, self-published zines were a key medium and means of expression for numerous feminist movements and marginalised groups.

Following an introduction to the historical development, as well as the political and social significance of various zines and zine movements, workshop participants will have the opportunity to design their own zines. The workshop will teach folding and collage techniques and provide a space for participants to contribute their own perspectives and experiment.

Admission: Full price: €28.00 including a day pass; reduced price: €8.00 without a day pass. All necessary materials will be provided.

The workshop is limited to a maximum of 15 people. Please book your tickets via our online ticket shop, which you’ll find as a tab on the right-hand side of our website. Thank you very much!

Meeting point: 4th floor, Museum Gunzenhauser
