Blind Art Date: Serving Gender – Queer Edition
Art & Socialising: A quarterly event organised by the Chemnitz Art Collections
Are you new to the city, or do you simply fancy meeting new people? Do you enjoy visiting museums but don’t want to go on your own? Then come along to the Blind Art Date at the Chemnitz Art Collections! This special event lets you immerse yourself in the exciting world of art and enjoy an inspiring short guided tour of the current exhibition *Utopia. The Right to Hope*. We’ll ask questions such as: ‘What gives you hope?’, ‘If you could do any job in the world – which one would it be?’ or ‘What small changes are you trying to make in your everyday life?’.
At the Blind Art Date, the museum space becomes a meeting place where you can strike up conversations with other art enthusiasts – in a relaxed atmosphere and without any pressure.
After the guided tour, you can continue chatting and make new connections over a drink in the foyer in a relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for anyone who’s open to new experiences and wants to share their enthusiasm for art!
The event is limited to a maximum of 20 people. Please book your tickets via our online ticket shop, which you’ll find as a tab on the right-hand side of our website. However, you’re also welcome to drop in on the spur of the moment!
You can find further dates in our events calendar.
Admission: Day ticket price + €3.00
Please note: When booking via the ticket shop, please select a day ticket (full price or concession) and Blind Art Date without a ticket book separately.
Admission is free for TU students and school pupils.
