Two-day block workshop

The Ido stool project aims to bring people and their stories together. The seats provide a platform for carvings and thus for different cultural identities. As these also each have a recess, many stools can be placed next to each other so that the carved identities and the people behind them can come into contact with each other and create a space for dialogue about culture and identity.
The workshop is divided into two days. On the first day, basic carving skills will be taught, carving will be practised and a motif for the seat will be designed in dialogue with and among each other. The second day is reserved for carving the seat and sharing the stories.
