What does everyday life actually sound like? Or rather, what do our everyday objects sound like?
The generative sound installation “Der Sonifikator” makes it possible to translate all kinds of objects — whether daily utensils or keepsakes from long ago — into sound. Visual, formal, and material aspects of the objects are analyzed and transformed in real time into an ambient composition. You can even take the sound home with you as a QR code.
