From 2.9.2024: Henry van de Velde Museum closed for renovation

From 2 September to 23 November 2024, the rooms of the Henry van de Velde Museum will be closed for renovation work. Shortly before the start of the Capital of Culture year, on November 24th 2024 the museum will reopen again as being part of the special exhibition Reform of Life & Henry van de Velde mittendrin. Another part of the exhibition will be located in the Kunstsammlungen am Theaterplatz. The exhibition is dedicated to Henry van de Velde in his role as a central mediator and hinge between the Arts and Crafts Movement and the Bauhaus.
