Due to the high demand for the exhibition Edvard Munch. Angst, the Kunstsammlungen am Theaterplatz have extended their opening hours to accommodate the continued public interest. Already in the first half of the exhibition period, the museum recorded over 37,000 visits (as of September 25, 2025).
Starting September 27, 2025, extended opening hours will apply on weekends and public holidays:
Saturday, Sunday, Public Holiday: 10 am – 7 pm
(September 27 and 28, October 3, 4, and 5, as well as October 11 and 12)
Starting October 14, 2025, extended opening hours will apply on all open days of the week:
Tuesday – Sunday and Public Holidays: 10 am – 7 pm
Wednesday, October 15, 2025: 10 am – 7:30 pm
