As in previous museum nights, an extra shuttle service with buses and trains will be set up so that guests can explore the program freely and flexibly.
The theme of this year’s Chemnitzer Museumsnacht 2022, which will take place near to International Museum Day on May 15, will be “The Unseen – das Ungesehene”. On display will be inventories, working methods and information that are less known or not in focus. The aim is to show the long time or not yet presented and thus unseen museum property, in order to surprise and present the diversity of the museum landscape in Chemnitz and the cultural region. The theme is based on the motto of the Kulturhauptstadt application “C the Unseen”.
