Starting Tuesday, May 6, 2025, admission tickets for the Kunstsammlungen at Theaterplatz, the Museum Gunzenhauser, the Schloßbergmuseum, and the Karl Schmidt-Rottluff Haus can be easily and conveniently booked online from home or while on the go. Tickets can be purchased approximately four weeks in advance and are valid for the selected day during the opening hours of the respective museum. An exception currently applies to the major special exhibitions European Realities and Edvard Munch. For these, visitors are asked to select a specific time slot in addition to the date of their visit.
Once booked online, the ticket will be sent via email. It can either be printed or shown on a smartphone at the entrance. Free tickets for annual pass holders, children and teenagers under 18 years old not accompanied by an adult, and other discounts are still available directly at the ticket counter.
Currently, PayPal is available as a payment option. Visa and Mastercard will be added soon.
