Photography and filming – exclusively for private, non-commercial purposes – is permitted without flash, tripod or selfie stick in the exhibitions of the museums of the Kunstsammlungen Chemnitz, as long as the safety of the art objects is guaranteed, a minimum distance of 50 cm is maintained, and consideration for other visitors is shown. This permission does not apply to the rights of third parties. The Kunstsammlungen Chemnitz expressly point out that, in particular, the reproduction or dissemination of content protected by copyright or personal rights is subject to approval. For individual works where a general ban on photography or filming applies due to the owener´s or copyright holder´s specifications, you will find a marking on the exhibiton space. In special exhibitions, photography and filming may be prohibited. The supervisory staff will be happy to inform you about this. Written permission is required for all purposes beyond the general permission, this also applies to subsequent changes of use.
