Families and Children

Holiday Programmes

During the autumn, winter, and summer holidays, we offer camp groups and families various programmes relating to our permanent and special exhibitions. In the course of a guided tour, the artworks are explored; following that, the participants make their own works of art in our studio. There is a materials fee of 50 Eurocents per participant. Advance registration is requested at info.kunstsammlungen@stadt-chemnitz.de.

Guided Tours for Families

Once a quarter the whole family is invited to the art collections on Theaterplatz or to the Gunzenhauser Museum to discover works of art together on family tours.
Following the respective guided tour, there is the opportunity to create your own works of art on selected themes under guidance in the studio.
Advance registration is requested at info.kunstsammlungen@stadt-chemnitz.de.
