To mark the 100th birthday of Antoni Tàpies, the Kunstsammlungen am Theaterplatz are presenting a studio exhibition with an exquisite selection of prints by the Catalan artist.
His diverse oeuvre includes painterly gestures and transparent color gradients, with lettering and arithmetic signs as well as a variety of objects such as glasses, scissors, clothing and furniture.
The Kunstsammlungen Chemnitz own one of the most extensive collections of the artist’s graphic work.
